Femme de Lux via Francoise Collection

Femme de Lux means "Woman of Luxury," and that is exactly what the ideal woman who shops from the Franoise Collection is - a woman who understands the value of luxury. Francoise Collection is a new e-Boutique, providing a virtual luxury shopping experience for those who want pieces that "exude timeless feminine elegance." For one to understand the Francoise Collection, one would first have to understand the meaning of luxury:

lux·u·ry

[luhk-shuh-ree, luhg-zhuh-] Show IPA noun, plural lux·u·ries, adjective
noun 1. a material object, service, etc., conducive to sumptuous living, usually a delicacy, elegance, or refinement of living rather than a necessity.

The keywords from above, 'sumptuous', 'delicacy', 'elegance', and  'refinement' all perfectly describe the luxurious pieces displayed in the current Francois Collection look book; pieces include handbags, jewelry, and the chicest headband of them all, which slightly resembles a toned-down version of the Louis Vuitton bunny ears with its vintage appearance.

I especially love their Petite Luxe Tote Bag, which is made of textured animal-friendly leather. The bag has clean, straight lines, giving it a sophisticated chic look, and its gold-tone hardware "adds a polished appeal." One of the main things that appeals to me about this bag is that it's a good size and has room, without looking over-sized and over-dominant, thanks to the minimal details. This is a bag that I would trust for my everyday use, and trust me, my bags take a beating and get a lot of mileage! That is why I need a bag that perfectly embodies dependability without giving up the style factor. This bag is also available in a leopard print!

I would love to wear anything from the Francoise Collection due to every piece's timeless elegance. Every piece a long-lasting quality to it, allowing for it to be either dressed up for the night at an event, or down in a pretty blouse, blazer, and jeans. For instance, the Pink Bling Earrings could either be the statement of an outfit or blend in for the day.

I would describe the ideal Francoise woman as someone who splits her time between New York City and Paris, owning her fast-paced lifestyle but also knowing when to settle down for a second to enjoy the little things in life, as cliche as that might sound. She doesn't owe anyone an explanation except for her mother, who is the only woman she will answer to. She hangs up her couture dresses right next to her Sunday brunch with her grandmother dress.

This collection embodies the spirit of what is currently happening with a lot of our current style, culture, and society: the juxtaposition of the old and new.
