Style Crush: Ashley Madekwe

 
      Simple. Feminine. Basics. Girly. Pretty. Friendly. Chic. Details. Clean. Crisp. Fun. Flirty. These are all words I would use to describe the gorgeous Ashley Madekwe, who I admittedly have a style/girl crush on. I would like to think that I am the only one who notices this beautiful actress' eclectic style, but unfortunately I have to share her with other admirers. Not only is Ashley Madekwe a rising actress (Revenge, TBL: The Beautiful Life, Secret Diary of a Call Girl) but she also runs her own style blog, Ring My Bell, where she exhibits her stylish wardrobe. On her blog, she combines femininity with simplicity, like combining a crisp, white tank with a colourfully patterned skirt.

      Her style onscreen is a little more eclectic - look to her character on Revenge as an example - it still very much embodies her onscreen presence without overpowering the actress. Apparently, she helps style her character on the show, who has a killer independent style yet still keeps a classy touch to keep up with the Hamptons crowd.
     To me, Ashley Madekwe is a fresh face out there who has this boldness about her, she owns whatever shes got going on.
